4.3. Inserting the battery

 Remove the battery compartment cover if you have
not already completed this step.
 Before installing the battery, firstly insert the SIM cards
and, if desired, a microSD card as described in the
previous sections.
 Insert the battery into the battery compartment. The
contacts on the battery must touch the corresponding
contacts on the telephone.

4.4. Charging the battery

PLEASE NOTE!
The battery can be charged regardless of
whether the SIM card is inserted.
 Before you charge the battery, make sure that the
battery cover has been securely fitted again.
 Insert the micro USB plug in the corresponding
connector on the phone. Ensure that the plug is
inserted in the connector the right way round. Do not
force it.
 Insert the other end of the cable into the USB
connection on your computer or use the supplied
mains charger.
 Connect the charger to an easily accessible mains
socket.
