Updating...Software
Updating to the latest software delivers the best
performance and gets the latest enhanced functions.
• You will be charged for data communication
according to the contract details of the network
you are using, when connecting to the Internet from
the product by using data communication. A large
amount of data communication occurs especially
when updating the OS.
• When a software update is necessary, you will be
informed on the au homepage, etc. For details, contact
the au shop/au Style or Customer Center (157/Toll-
free). Customers using a Galaxy A32 5G requiring a
software update may be sent a notification from au so
that the terminal can be used in optimum condition.
• You are recommended to back up your data before
updating software.
• Be sure to fully charge the internal battery before
use. Updating software may fail if the battery level
is low or becomes low while updating.
• Check the radio wave condition. Updating software
may fail in poor reception areas.
• If software update has failed or stopped, update the
software again.
• If you fail to update software, it may become
impossible to operate the product. If this happens,
bring it to an au shop/au Style or Toyota store (not
accepted by some shops).
• The software update function may not be available
overseas.
• Operations are not available during software
update. Calls to 110 (Police), 119 (Fire department
or ambulance service), 118 (Japan Coast Guard)
and 157 (Customer Center) are also not available.
Also, alarm, etc. cannot be used.
