Connecting to a smartphone/tablet

For both iOS devices (iPhone/iPod touch/iPad) and Android devices
Connecting without entering the password
You can directly connect the camera to a smartphone with ease by pressing [Wi-Fi].

Press [Wi-Fi] on the camera.

Turn on the Wi-Fi function in the setting menu of
the smartphone.

Select the SSID displayed on the screen of the
camera.

On the smartphone, start "Image App".

The connection confirmation screen is displayed on the
camera. Select [Yes]. (Only when connecting for the first
time)
When [Wi-Fi Password] is set to the default setting [OFF],
third parties may intercept Wi-Fi radio waves and collect the
content of communications. Set [Wi-Fi Password] to [ON] to enable the password.

Terminating the connection
After use, terminate the connection to the smartphone.

Press [Wi-Fi] on the camera.
[Terminate the Connection] > [Yes]

On the smartphone, close "Image App".
(If you are using an iOS device)
On the screen of "Image App", press the home button to close the app.
(If you are using an Android device)
On the screen of "Image App", press the return button twice to close the app.
