This manual covers the filtration unit that is described (name and reference) in the attached document “TECHNICAL CARACTER- ISTICS”.

    During the installation process, if in doubt, contact the vendor of the unit. 2.2. ASSEMBLY Once the unit is in place, proceed as follows: (See pages 10 to 14). Attach filter to the mass filter according to model (Ø300-Pag. 10-14). Fix the pump to the base with the screws and washers supplied.

TOP SELECTOR VALVE VALVE TYPES AND FUNCTIONING A 5-way valve: The selector valve on top of the filter is used to select the 5 different filter modes: filtration, backwashing, rining, draining and closed.     4.2. FILTRATION NEVER HANDLE THE VALVE WHILE THE MOTOR IS RUNNING. Backwash the sand before the first filtration. (Part 5.3) The valve should be in the filter position (FILTER). The service life of the filter will be longer if the periods of continuous oper- ation do not exceed 4 hours.

    5. CABLE REPLACEMENT If the power cable becomes damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, your after-sales service engineer or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid hazards. 6. MAINTENANCE After the bathing season has ended, the filter should be kept in a dry place where it is protected from bad weather. After per- forming a final backwash to clean the silica sand, dismantle the hoses and drain the water in the filter through the tank drain plug until it is completely empty.
