Styling with the Ceramic-Coated Plates
The plates of the straightener have a satin-finish easy-glide
ceramic-coated surface. This means it's not only simpler to clean
off styling product residue, etc., after each use, but hair glides
easily over the surface of the plates as you're straightening. It
evenly distributes heat for salon-perfect results. Hair slips right
through the plates after it's straightened. The ceramic-coated sur-
face also helps smooth frizzy hair.

To Straighten Hair

Hair should be clean and completely dried before using the
straightener. Plug the straightener into an electrical outlet. Turn
on the unit. The power indicator light illuminates.
WARNING: After the straightener has been turned on, the metal
plates will get very hot within a few seconds and should not be
placed in contact with the skin.
Start with a hair section that is 1" wide and no more than 1/2"
thick. Open the straightener and place a hair section between
the two hot plates, close to the scalp. Keep hair between the
plates by firmly squeezing the handles together. While maintain-
ing the tension, slowly pull the unit down along the hair section
