Playing MP3/WMA Files

You can play MP3/WMA files that have been recorded on a CD-R or CD-ROM on
the DVD video player.
Playing MP3/WMA files
Preparations
• Make sure that a disc you want to play is compatible with this DVD video player.
• Set "Priority Contents" to "Audio" from the on-screen display.
Place a CD that contains MP3/WMA

files on the disc tray.

Press OPEN/CLOSE to load the disc.
Playback starts.

To stop playback, press STOP.

To pause playback
Press PAUSE/STEP during playback.
To resume normal playback, press
PAUSE/STEP
the PLAY button.
Notes
• An interval between a WMA file and an MP3 file will be longer than that for two files of the same format.
• WMA files may take a longer time to begin.
• Some discs may not permit this operation.
• WMA tracks copy-protected cannot be played.
• The BITSTREAM/PCM jack outputs MP3/WMA sounds in the linear PCM format regardless of the current "Audio Out Select"
selection

4 Press ENTER to begin playback of the selected
track.
Notes
• You can select a track also by designating a track number.
Press the T button, and press the
track number, then press the ENTER button.
• To turn off the on-screen display, press the DISPLAY
button several times.
• Letters of a file/folder name overflowing the given space
are not displayed.
