Humidifier Pads (Sponge)
Whether you acquired your new Humidifier Pads by purchasing a kit or through any other means, please read the below
documentation. For best results please share these instructions with everyone in your paint department to decrease
confusion among staff.
The Moisture Seal included is used to create a better seal between the lid of your Humidifier Cup and the nozzle cluster.
This seal will help decrease the rate at which the water in the cup and pad evaporates, leading to longer, more trouble
free operation of your dispenser when maintained correctly.
Your daily maintenance includes a Purge of all canisters once a day while continuing to clean and refill your Humidifier
Cup by saturating the Humidifier Pad and filling the Cup with water. In very dry or hot climates you may wet your
Humidifier Pad more than once to retain optimal operation.
Moisture Seal Replacement & Installation
You may or may not have a Moisture Seal installed on your dispenser at present. If you do not have one, install the one
included in the kit you acquired.
If you already have a Moisture Seal installed, please replace it with a new one each time you buy a replacement pad kit.
You may keep your old Moisture Seal as a spare.
Installation of the Moisture Seal is quite simple; please follow the directions below:
***See page 2 for photos***
1. From the main TintWise screen click on "Dispenser Utilities" > Maintenance > "Clean Cap". DO NOT use "Wet
Cap Sponge". DO NOT remove the cup via any other method as it can cause damage to the Capper.
2. Looking at your nozzle cluster, if you have a rubber Moisture Seal around the cluster remove it now. Note that
the wider opening of the seal should have been facing down towards the lid of the Humidifier Cup.
3. Once you have removed the old seal, or if you did not have a seal to begin with it is now time to fit your new
seal onto the nozzle cluster, again keeping the wider opening of the seal facing down towards the lid of the
Humidifier Cup.
4. Press "OK".
5. Check that the seal and the cup touch, if they do not then you can slide the seal down the nozzle cluster slightly
until it makes contact with the cup.
