    GETTING STARTED FM RADIO AERIAL Before using your unit for FM reception, unwrap and fully extend the aerial wire. You may need to adjust the position of the aerial wire for maximum signal strength. AM RADIO LOOP AERIAL If you plan to listen to AM radio stations, you will need to assemble and connect the AM loop aerial.
  • Page 8 CONNECTING POWER Check that the mains voltage on the rating plate of the AC adaptor is the same as the voltage in your area. Plug the DC cord from the adaptor into the unit, plug the adaptor into the wall socket and switch the mains power on. The unit is now ready for use.

    LISTENING TO THE RADIO To listen to the radio: • Press the RADIO button to select radio operation. The radio tuning screen will be displayed. To change from FM band to AM band: • After selecting Radio mode, press the RADIO button repeatedly to switch between FM and AM bands.
