Caratteristiche generali
Il Ripetitore, dispositivo elettronico che fa parte del sistema "Easy Way", permette di comunicare con
i terminali e sensori o altri ripetitori e di inviare i dati all'Access Point troppo lontano per ricevere il
segnale. Il Ripetitore quindi rigenera il segnale tra i dispositivi posti nell'ambiente e l'Access Point,
quando le distanze sono troppo elevate per una corretta ricezione.
Il prodotto può essere commercializzato in tutti i paesi della Comunità Europea.
Per tutti gli altri paesi si verifi chi la Normativa vigente in relazione alle caratteristiche radio.
Installazione
• Fissare alla parete il Ripetitore con il pressacavo verso il basso;
• avvitare l'antenna nell'apposito alloggio (2), orientarla in modo verticale rispetto al pavimento;
• collegare l'alimentazione al morsetto (1), facendo attenzione alle polarità indicate, nel caso di
alimentazione a tensione continua;
ATTENZIONE: Se si condivide la stessa alimentazione per più macchine, connettere lo stesso fi lo
del trasformatore sul morsetto "–" dell'alimentazione (1);
• Acceso lo strumento tutti e 3 i led sono accesi. Il Ripetitore sta ricercando un Access Point a cui
inviare le informazioni provenienti dai terminali o sensori posti nelle vicinanze. Se non riesce a
stabilire una comunicazione, dopo qualche secondo i led lampeggiano e si riaccendono per indicare
che è iniziata una nuova ricerca;
• Per annettere il Ripetitore ad una rete, premere il tasto T1 dell'Access Point desiderato. Quando i tre
led dell'Access Point lampeggiano in sequenza il Ripetitore è stato correttamente associato (si veda
la documentazione dell'Access Point);
• Se si vuole annettere il Ripetitore ad un altro Access Point, si prema il tasto T1 per qualche secondo e
il Ripetitore viene re-inizializzato. A questo punto si ripetano le operazioni descritte nelle fasi precedenti.
ATTENZIONE: Il Ripetitore può essere annesso ad un solo Access Point.

Avvertenze generali
• Fissare il Ripetitore nel posto desiderato tenendo in considerazione che si sta installando
un'apparecchiatura radio per cui sono necessari i seguenti semplici accorgimenti:
- Evitare di racchiudere l'apparecchiatura tra due pareti metalliche;
- L'effi cienza della trasmissione radio si riduce in presenza di ostacoli o in presenza di scaffalature

metalliche, o quant'altro possa ostacolare la ricezione dei segnali radio;

- Se il prodotto viene installato a muro, fi ssarlo su una parete murale piuttosto di una metallica,
questo permette una maggiore portata del segnale;
- Si tenga conto che la migliore posizione del Ripetitore è quella in cui è "visibile" dagli altri
dispositivi. Si consiglia quindi di posizionarlo in modo tale da ridurre il più possibile gli ostacoli;
+ - - Come qualsiasi apparecchiatura radio, evitare di fi ssare il Ripetitore in vicinanza di altri

apparecchi elettronici in modo da evitare interferenze;
• Evitare l'installazione dello strumento in ambienti che presentino le seguenti caratteristiche:
- forti vibrazioni o urti;
- esposizione a getti d'acqua;
- esposizione all'irraggiamento solare diretto e agli agenti atmosferici in genere;
- Qualora l'apparecchio venisse utilizzato in un modo non specifi cato dal costruttore, le protezioni
previste dall'apparecchio potrebbero essere compromesse;

SIGNIFICATO
Lo strumento è acceso per la prima volta oppure è stato
re-inizializzato e sta ricercando un Access Point a cui connettersi.
Aprire il canale di annessione sull'Access Point a cui si vuole
annettere il Ripetitore, perché lo strumento diventi operativo.
Il Ripetitore è operativo e sta comunicando con gli strumenti
(terminali o sensori) ad esso associati e invia i dati all'Access
Point. Durante la comunicazione con gli strumenti L2 e L3 si
accendono per qualche istante, questo comportamento è da
ritenersi normale.
Si è premuto T1 per un tempo di 6S e il Ripetitore sta per essere
re-inizializzato. (Stato A).

General features
The Repeater, an electronic device that is part of the "Easy Way" system, is used to communicate
with the terminals and sensors or other repeaters, and forward the data to the Access Point that is
too far away to receive the signal. The Repeater thus relays the signal between the devices located in
the controlled area and the Access Point, when the distance is too far for correct reception.
The product may be sold in all EU countries.
For all other countries, check the legislation in force with regards to the radio specifi cations.
Installation
• Fasten the Repeater to the wall with the cable gland facing downwards;
• tighten the antenna in the special housing (2), position it vertically to the fl oor;
• connect the power supply to terminal (1), ensuring the polarity indicated for DC power supply;
IMPORTANT: If the same power supply is shared by more than one unit, connect the same wire
from the transformer to the "–" terminal of the power supply (1);
• Once the device has been turned on all 3 LEDs will come on. The Repeater is searching for an Ac
cess Point to relay the information from the terminals or sensors located in the vicinity. If communi
cation cannot be established, after a few seconds the LEDs fl ash and come on again to indicate
that the device is searching again;
• To connect the Repeater to a network, press button T1 on the desired Access Point. When the three
LEDs on the Access Point fl ash in sequence, the Repeater has been correctly connected (see the
documents on the Access Point);
• To connect the Repeater to another Access Point, press button T1 for a few seconds to re-initialise
the Repeater. Then repeat the operations described in the previous points.
IMPORTANT: The Repeater can only be connected to one Access Point.
General warnings
• Fasten the Repeater in the desired position, considering that as the device being installed is a radio
device, the following simple rules must be observed:
- Avoid enclosing the appliance between two metal walls;
- The effi ciency of radio transmission is reduced when there are obstacles, metal shelving or other
objects that may block the reception of the radio signals;
- If the product is wall-mounted, fasten it to a masonry wall rather than a metal wall, to improve
the range of the signal;
- Remember that the best position for the Repeater is one where it is "visible" to the other devices.
It should be positioned in such a way as to minimise any obstacles;
- Like all radio equipment, avoid installing the Repeater near other electronic appliances so as to
avoid interference;
• Do not install the instruments in environments with the following characteristics:
- strong vibrations or knocks;
- exposure to water sprays;
- exposure to direct sunlight or the elements in general;
- If the appliance is used in a way that is not described by the manufacturer, the specifi ed level of
protection may be affected.

Meaning of the LEDs
Status Status of the LED MEANING
A L1, L2, L3 always on The Repeater has been switched on for the fi rst time or has
been re-initialised and is searching for an Access Point to
connect to. Open the connection channel on the Access Point
that the Repeater is being connected to for the device to
become operational.
B L1 Flashing (operation) The Repeater is operating and is communicating with the
connected instruments (terminals or sensors), sending the
data to the Access Point. During communication with the
instruments, L2 and L3 comer on briefl y; this behaviour should
be considered normal.
C L1, L2 on together;L3 on T1 has been pressed for 6 seconds and the Repeater will be
alternating re-initialised (Status A).
