-Before using the product for the first time, unpack the product
and check that it is in perfect conditions. If not, do not use the
appliance and contact JOCCA, as the guarantee covers any
damage from origin or manufacturing defects.
-This product is only indicated for domestic use. Do not use the
appliance outdoors. Never leave the appliance exposed to clima-
tic agents such as rain, snow, sun, etc....
-This appliance is intended to be used only by adults. Do not
allow people not accustomed to this kind of appliances, handi-
capped people or children to use this item.
-Before connecting the appliance to the mains, check that the
cable and plug are in perfect conditions. Also check that the vol-
tage indicated on the appliance is valid for your electrical installa-
tion.
-If you detect that the power supply cable or the plug are dama-
ged, do not use the appliance or try to replace the cable yourself.
Go directly to the authorised JOCCA technical service where
they will replace it correctly for you.
-Never leave the appliance cable hanging or in contact with hot
parts.
-Do not immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid.
-Do not pull the cable to unplug the appliance from the mains,
always pull from the plug.
-If your appliance has been dropped or fallen into water or any
other liquid do not use it or try to repair it. Take it to the JOCCA
technical service.
-For your safety and for the appliance to work correctly, always
use JOCCA spare parts and accessories.
-Do not move the appliance when it is in use.
-Use the appliance on a flat and horizontal surface.
-Do not leave the appliance on top of or near a hot electrical or
gas burner.
-This appliance will be completely switched off when it is totally
unplug.
-Please unplug the appliance before putting it together, taking it
apart, or cleaning. All its components should be taken apart for
cleaning.
-Do not add water to the appliance if it is still hot; there may still
be pressure inside the coffee-maker.
-Never use this coffee-maker directly on the hotplate or electri-
cal oven. It is designed to work only on its base.
-Do not remove the cover when the coffee is coming out.
-Make sure that the coffee-maker is switched off before remo-
ving it from its base.
-Never start the coffee-maker up without water.
-Avoid contact with metal parts that may reach high temperatu-
res.
-Do not open the coffee-maker when it is working, as it is under
pressure at that time.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
-It is advisable to cleaning the parts, water tank, filter and coffee
carafe with soapy water before use.
-Fill the water tank to the safety valve level but do not go over it.
-Place the funnel-shaped filter in the water tank and fill up with
ground coffee. Distribute the ground coffee evenly, do not press
and eliminate any excess from the edge of the filter.
-Close the coffee-maker and put it on its base. Close the lid and
press the on/off button.
-When all the coffee has come out, turn off the switch. For all the
coffee to have the same consistency and aroma, we advise sti-
rring it with a spoon whilst it is in the coffee carafe and before ser-
ving it.
-Tip: Use fresh or soft water. Saline or hard water would dama-
ge the mix.
-Do not use the coffee-maker without water or put hot water into
the water tank.
-This coffee-maker has an accessory that reduces the filter
capacity to half and thus obtains a long, mild coffee. Use this
accessory and fill the water tank with the same amount of water
as for normal coffee.
-After fitting the accessory, fill the filter with ground coffee and
follow the previous steps.
