  • Page 20: Throughput Power

7 Throughput power The thermal throughput power (rated power) and the maximum permissible ambient temperature are decisive for the maximum heating of the components within the Power Switch. In order not to cause unwanted tripping of miniature circuit breakers and residual current circuit breakers, these two parameters must remain within the permissible limits.
  • Page 21: Commissioning The Power Switch

8.3.1 Configuration island mode The RCT Power Switch enables an off-grid operation to be set up in 1-phase as well as 3-phase mode. In 1-phase off-grid mode, the individual phases L1,L2 and L3 are bridged in off-grid operation. This makes it possible to use large single-phase loads in off-grid operation.
