    USING YOUR HOTPLATES Power Level Guide Power level 1: For simmering or slow cooking. Power level 2: For shallow frying of meat and pan dishes. Power level Max: For rapid heat or boiling water. Left Hotplate 1. Place pan onto the hotplate. It should have a solid base which is as even as possible and the diameter should be same or bigger than the hot plate.
