Technical Note

Handling battery during long storage time

If PSU501 is kept in storage for long periods of time, the battery inside may discharge.
If you store PSU501 for more than 1 month, do one of the following:
Disconnect the battery and reconnect it before installing the Beacon station, or
Charge the battery once a month

  • Page 2 Before you start, make sure that the power cable is not connected. To remove the PSU501 top cover, unscrew the fastening screws (6 pcs) and lift the cover. Use either a 5.5‑mm flat head screwdriver or a pozidriv screwdriver (PZ2).
