Safety Precautions
• WARNING: This device is not intended to be used in children
under the age of 2.
• This thermometer is not meant to diagnose illness or take the
place of your doctor. If you are experiencing symptoms of
illness, contact your physician for further guidance.
• This thermometer is designed to measure your temperature
and should not replace consulting your physician.
• Dispose of this thermometer responsibly and in accordance
with local regulations.
• Remove the batteries from the thermometer if it will not be
used for three (3) months or longer.
• Dispose of old batteries responsibly and in accordance with
local regulations.
• When replacing the batteries, change all of the batteries at
the same time.
• Do not mix types or brands of batteries.
• Batteries may leak harmful liquids, ignitable materials, or may
explode potentially causing personal injury or product
damage.
• Do not use this thermometer where flammable gases
are present.
• Inspect the thermometer before each use to make sure parts
are not broken or missing.
• Do not use the thermometer outside of the proper
temperature conditions to ensure accurate readings.
• Handle the thermometer with care and avoid dropping the
thermometer to prevent inaccurate readings.
• Clean the thermometer sensor before each use to ensure
accurate readings.
• Do not put any protective sleeves on the thermometer as this
may impact the accuracy of temperature readings.
• Wait at least 30 seconds between readings to
ensure accuracy.
• Keep young children in the same environment for a few
minutes before taking their temperature as their bodies react
slowly to environment changes.
• For the most accurate reading on children ages 3 and under,
