Deluxe electronic sports starting system

The Deluxe Electronic Sports Starting System can be used as a portable public address system, a stand alone starting unit
with a choice of starting tones and options, or can be connected to various electronic timing systems to activate the timing.
The system is intended to replace the starting pistol for the starting of athletic and swimming events.
It provides the benefits of:
• Talk through public address facility with optional extensional speaker;
• Time keepers / competitors strobe light;
• Normally open or closed contacts to interface with a timing system if used;
• Safe and reliable to use in all weather conditions or in pool areas; and
• Portable (approx 4kg) and simple to setup and operate.
• Rechargeable batteries providing 10 -14 hours continuous operation

The Sports Starting System is shipped with the following items:
1. The electronic PA / Tone starting system housing and horn.
2. 2 x 12volt 3.3 - 3.4 AH sealed lead acid batteries depending on the battery manufacturer (Models include PS-1230,
NP3.2-12, UB1234, LC-R123R4P & ES3-12).
3. Microphone handpiece.
4. Strobe light assembly including LED module, cover, straight coupling, right angle coupling and length of 20mm
PVC conduit.
5. 3 metre microphone extension cable and inline coupler.
6. 12 Volt smart charger.

Connecting the Starter Strobe: Assemble the strobe unit using either the 90 degree connector or the straight connector: Insert the strobe light pole into the socket on the top of the housing. If more height for the light is required, simply use a longer length of 20mm PVC pipe.

Do not operate the tone while in a confined space or positioned within 2 metres of the front of sound horn as feedback will occur and the tone may cause hearing problems with excessive exposure.

The beep test is run over a 20 metre distance (between distance markers).
