- Page 3 STEP 6 TAILGATE VEHICLE CONNECTION Pull the corners and side flap of the Cover [G] underneath [Fg. 14] the Steel U-Tube poles [A]. [Fg. 10] At corners: Attach the Ring and Hook together. [Fg. 12] At side flap: Connect and tighten buckle clip. [Fg. 11] Pull center bungee tight after all corner connections and center buckle have been secured.
