3.1. Available models

» XFCT 1600: aerial optical termination box without splitter;
» XFCT 1608: aerial optical termination box with 1x8 SC/APC splitter;
» XFCT 1616: aerial optical termination box with 1x16 SC/APC splitter.

3.2. Description

The Intelbras Optical Termination Box (OTB) is used as the termination point of the backbone
cable to connect with the drop cable to the network of FFTX communication systems. In the

OTB, fiber splicing, splitting and distribution can be done, providing adequate protection and
accommodation for FTTx network construction. With its completely closed structure made of
PC+ABS, the Intelbras OTB provides protection against humidity, dust, aging, and water,
with an IP 55 ingress protection rating.

» Closed structure to accommodate splicing and optical connections;
» Material: PC + ABS;
» Ingress protection rating: IP 55;
» Support for up to 16 SC adapters;
» Outdoor or indoor installation, and can be installed both on walls and on poles;
