Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung
Das Produkt dient zur Effektbeleuchtung in trockenen Innenräumen. Durch die Bauart der
Leuchtmittel können fast beliebig viele Farbkombinationen der eingebauten LEDs erzeugt
werden. Auch ein automatischer Farbwechsel steht zur Verfügung. Der Transformator mit dem
eingebauten Steuergerät darf nur mit einer Netzspannung von 230V~/50Hz betrieben werden.
Eine andere Verwendung als zuvor beschrieben, führt zur Beschädigung dieses Produktes,
darüber hinaus ist dies mit Gefahren, wie z.B. Kurzschluss, Brand, elektrischer Schlag etc.,
verbunden. Das gesamte Produkt darf nicht geändert bzw. umgebaut werden!
Die Sicherheits- und Montagehinweise sind unbedingt zu befolgen!

Sicherheitshinweise
Bei Schäden, die durch Nichtbeachten dieser Bedienungsanleitung verursacht
werden, erlischt der Garantieanspruch! Für Folgeschäden übernehmen wir
keine Haftung!
Bei Sach- oder Personenschäden, die durch unsachgemäße Handhabung oder
Nichtbeachten der Sicherheitshinweise verursacht werden, übernehmen wir
keine Haftung! In solchen Fällen erlischt jeder Garantieanspruch.
• Die Installation des Produkts darf nur durch eine qualifizierte Fachkraft erfolgen,
die mit den einschlägigen Vorschriften (z.B. VDE) vertraut ist!
• Aus Sicherheits- und Zulassungsgründen (CE) ist das eigenmächtige Umbauen
und/oder Verändern des Gerätes nicht gestattet.
• Das Produkt entspricht der Schutzklasse 2. Das Produkt ist nur zum Betrieb an der
Netzspannung (230V~/50Hz) zugelassen, der Schutzleiter darf nicht angeschlos-
sen werden.
• Zum Anschluss an die Netzspannung darf nur die mitgelieferte Netzzuleitung (mit
dem Netzstecker) verwendet werden.
• Die Leuchtmittel werden bei Betrieb sehr heiß (auf der Rückseite ca. bis zu 85°C).
Je nachdem, an welcher Position die Lampen eingebaut werden und wie der
Einbauraum beschaffen ist, ist auf ausreichende Belüftung bzw. ausreichenden
Abstand zu benachbarten Flächen zu achten, um keinen Hitzestau zu bekommen.
Brandgefahr! Gleiches gilt für das Steuergerät/Trafo, das an einigen Stellen bis zu
75°C heiß werden kann.
• Der Betrieb ist nur in trockenen Innenräumen erlaubt.
• Das Produkt gehört nicht in Kinderhände! Es besteht die Gefahr eines lebensge-
fährlichen elektrischen Schlages!
• Lassen Sie das Verpackungsmaterial nicht achtlos liegen. Kunststofffolien bzw.
–tüten, Styroporteile, etc., könnten für Kinder zu einem gefährlichen Spielzeug
werden.
• In gewerblichen Einrichtungen sind die Unfallverhütungsvorschriften des
Verbandes der gewerblichen Berufsgenossenschaften für elektrische Anlagen und
Betriebsmittel zu beachten!
Anschlüsse des Steuergeräts/Trafos
Entfernen Sie die Abdeckung des Steuergeräts/Trafos, drehen Sie die Schraube der
Abdeckung mit einem dazu geeigneten Schraubendreher heraus.

Montage
• Zum Einbau der Lampen (Deckeneinbauring mit Leuchtmittel) ist eine Einbautiefe von min-
destens ca. 45mm erforderlich.
Version 05/04 • Bohren Sie an der gewünschten Position für jeden der drei Deckeneinbauringe mit einem
dazu geeigneten Bohrer das Einbauloch von 70mm z.B. in ein Holzpaneel der

Deckenverkleidung.
• Stecken Sie auf den Deckeneinbauring links und rechts je einen Halteclip von außen auf die
beiden Haltestifte. Biegen Sie die Halteclipse zusammen und stecken Sie den
Deckeneinbauring in das Einbauloch. Die Halteclipse schnappen dabei ein und halten den
Deckeneinbauring im Einbauloch.
• Stecken Sie ein Leuchtmittel von vorn in den Deckeneinbauring. Durch die Bauart des
Leuchtmittels ist dies etwas schwierig, achten Sie darauf, dass die Kabel nicht beschädigt
werden. Wenden Sie keine Gewalt an.
Setzen Sie danach den großen Kunststoff-Sprengring ein, um das Leuchtmittel im
Deckeneinbauring zu fixieren. Danach kann das Leuchtmittel im Deckeneinbauring sowohl
geschwenkt als auch gedreht werden.
• Verbinden Sie Netzkabel, Steuerkabel und Lampenkabel mit den korrekten Anschlüssen des
Steuergeräts/Trafos.
Falls Sie Zweifel bei der Installation haben, so lassen Sie die Installation von
einer Fachkraft durchführen. Durch falsche Installation besteht nicht nur die
Gefahr der Zerstörung des Produkts, sondern auch Lebensgefahr durch einen
elektrischen Schlag!
Falls mehrere Steuergeräte/Trafos miteinander verbunden werden sollen (bis zu 7
Steuergeräte/Trafos können dann mit einem einzigen Taster gemeinsam gesteuert werden!),
sind die jeweiligen Stiftleisten miteinander zu verbinden. Verschließen Sie danach die
Abdeckung des Steuergeräts/Trafos.
• Verbinden Sie die Leuchtmittel über die mitgelieferten Verlängerungskabel miteinander bzw.
mit dem Steuergerät/Trafo.
Achten Sie auf den korrekten Anschluss.
• Am Ende des Kabels (am letzten Leuchtmittel) ist der Abschlussstecker aufzustecken. Ohne
Abschlusstecker funktioniert das System nicht, außerdem besteht dadurch die Gefahr der
Beschädigung des Steuergeräts.
Bedienung
Mittels dem angeschlossenen Taster kann das Set bedient werden:
• Taster kurz drücken: Ein-/Ausschalten
(zuletzt eingestellte Farbe wird gespeichert und beim erneuten Einschalten wieder herge-
stellt)
• Taster länger drücken: Farbe verändern (Ca. 2.097.000 Farben möglich)
• Taster länger als 20 Sekunden drücken: Aktivierung des automatischen Farbwechslers
(LEDs wechseln selbstständig die Farben)
Tipps & Hinweise
• An jedem Steuergerät/Trafo können maximal 9 Leuchtmittel angeschlossen werden. Das
Steuergerät/Trafo beinhaltet eine Konstantstromquelle (etwa 350mA +/-10%); abhängig von
der Anzahl der angeschlossenen Leuchtmittel ist die Ausgangsspannung unterschiedlich
hoch (ca. 3.5V bis 38V).
• Maximal 7 Steuergeräte/Trafos können miteinander verbunden werden und mittels einem
einzigen Taster gemeinsam gesteuert werden (die einzelne Steckbrücke (5) darf nur auf dem
einen Steuergerät/Trafo gesteckt sein, an dem auch der Taster angeschlossen ist).
• Am Ende des Kabels zu den Leuchtmitteln muss der Abschlussstecker aufgesteckt werden,
andernfalls funktioniert das Lampensystem nicht, außerdem besteht dadurch die Gefahr der
Beschädigung des Steuergeräts.
• Das Kabel zum Taster darf max. 10m lang sein (Niederspannung, keine Netzspannung, nur
Steuersignal!). Der Taster muss ein Schließer sein.
• Die Leuchtmittel müssen mindestens 1m über dem zu beleuchtenden Gegenstand montiert
werden, da sie das Licht im Lichtkegel bauartbedingt erst ab einem Abstand von ca. 40cm
zu weißem Licht mischen.
• Wie bei herkömmlichen Halogenlampen oder Glühlampen auch, sollten Sie nicht direkt in die
Leuchtmittel blicken. Durch das helle Licht besteht sonst die Gefahr von Augenschäden.
• Ein Leuchtmittelwechsel ist durch die sehr lange LED-Lebensdauer normalerweise nicht
erforderlich. Falls trotzdem ein Leuchtmittelwechsel nötig werden sollte, so lassen Sie das
Leuchtmittel ausreichend abkühlen, bevor Sie es aus dem Deckeneinbauring entnehmen.
Wenden Sie beim Herausziehen des Leuchtmittels/Kabels keine Gewalt an.

Intended Use
The product is used for effect lighting in dry, closed rooms. Through the type of construction
of the illuminants, almost as many combinations of colours can be generated in the integrat-
ed LEDs as desired. Automatic change of colours is also possible. The transformer with the
integrated control device may only be operated with mains voltage of 230V~/50Hz.
Any other use than that described above will lead to damage to the product and may involve
other risks, such as short circuits, fire, electrical shocks etc. No part of the product may be
modified or converted!
The safety instructions must always be observed!

Safety instructions
The guarantee will expire in case of damage caused by failure to comply with
these operating instructions! We shall not be liable for any consequential loss!
We do not accept any liability for any personal injury or damage to property
caused by incorrect handling or non-observance of the safety instructions!
The guarantee will expire in such cases.
• The product may only be mounted by a specialist who is familiar with the pertinent
regulations (e.g. VDE).
• For safety and licensing (CE) reasons, unauthorised conversion and/or modifica-
tion to the product are not permitted.
• The product corresponds to protective class 2. The product is only licensed for
operation on the mains voltage (230V~/50Hz). The earth wire must be connected.
• Only the supplied mains supply cable (with the mains plug) may be used for con-
nection to the mains voltage.
• The illuminants will become very hot during operation (on the rear up to 85°C).
Depending on at which position the lamps are installed and how the installation
room is composed, attention must be paid to sufficient ventilation or sufficient
distance to the adjacent areas to avoid any heat accumulation. Danger of fire! The
same goes for the control device/transformer which can become 75°C hot at some
points.
• Operation is only permitted in dry, indoor areas.
• It should be kept out of the reach of children! There is risk of a fatal electric shock!
• Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. Plastic foil, styrofoam
parts etc., could become dangerous toys for children.
• In commercial institutions, the accident prevention regulations of the Employer's
Liability Insurance Association for Electrical Systems and Operating Materials are
to be observed.

Remove the covering of the control device/transformer. Screw out the screw of the covering
with a suitable screwdriver.

Mounting
• A depth of installation of at least approx. 45mm is necessary for installation of the lamps
(ceiling installation ring with illuminant).
Version 05/04 • Using a suitable drill, drill the installation hole of 70 mm for each of the three installations
rings at the desired position, e.g. in a wooden panel of the ceiling cladding.

• From the outside, plug one retaining clip on to each of the ceiling installation rings on the left
and the right to the two retaining pins. Fold the retaining clips together und plug the ceiling
installation ring into the installation hole. The retaining clips snap in thereby and hold the
ceiling installation ring in the installation hole.
• Insert an illuminant into the ceiling installation ring from the front. This is a little difficult due
to the type of construction of the illuminant. Make sure that the cables are not damaged. Do
not exert any force.
Then insert the large plastic snap ring to fix the illuminant onto the ceiling installation ring.
Then, the illuminant in the ceiling installation ring can be both swivelled and turned.
• Connect the mains cable, control cable and lamp cable to the correct connection of the con-
trol device/transformers
If you have doubts about the correct connection, have this carried out by an
electrician! Through incorrect installation, there is not only the risk of destroy-
ing the product but also risk of a fatal electric shock!
If several control devices/transformers are to be connected with one another (up to 7 control
devices/transformers can then be controlled with on single button together!), the appropri-
ate connector plugs are to be connected to one another. Close the accumulator cover of the
control device/transformer.
• Connect the illuminants with one another by means of the supplied extension cable or to the
control device /transformer.
Make sure that the connection is correct.
• The final plug is to be plugged on to the end of the cable (on the last illuminant). The system
will not function without the final plug. Apart from this, there is risk of damage to the control
device.
Operation
The set can be operated by means of the connected button:
• Press the button briefly: Switch on/off
(the colour set last is stored and restored when switched on again)
• Press the button and keep it down for a longer period: alter colour (approx. 2,097,000 colours
possible)
• Press the button for longer than 20 seconds: Activation of the automatic colour changer
(LEDs change colours independently)
Tips and information
• A maximum of 9 illuminants can be connected to each control device/transformer. The con-
trol device/transformer maintains a constant power source (approx. 350mA +/-10%.
Depending on the number of the connected illuminants, the output voltage is of a varying lev-
el (approx. 2.5V to 38V).
• A maximum of 7 control device//transformers can connected to one another and controlled
mutually by one single button (the individual jumpers (5) may only be plugged on the control
device/transformer at which the button is also connected).
• The final plug has to be plugged to the end of the cable to the illuminants. Otherwise the lamp
system will not function. Apart from this, there is risk of damage to the control device.
• The cable to the button may only be a max. of 10m long (low voltage, no mains voltage, only
control signal!). The button has to be a closer.
• The illuminants have to be mounted at at least 1m over the object to be illuminated as they
only merge the light in the cone of light from a distance of approx. 40 cm due to the type of
construction.
• As with conventional halogen lamps or light bulbs, do not look directly into the illuminants.
There is risk of eye damage due to the bright light!
• It is not normally necessary to change the illuminants due to the very long LED service life.
If a change of illuminant should become necessary nevertheless, allow the illuminant to cool
off sufficiently before you remove the ceiling installation ring. Do not exert any force when
removing the illuminant/cable..
