Button functions
1. CUT – UP – 5/4:
CUT = round down
UP = round up
5/4 = automatic rounding off
2. Solar cell panel
This calculator has no battery and is pow-
ered solely by the solar cell on the front.
3. F – 4 – 2 – 0 – ADD2:
F = floating decimal point
4, 2, 0 = number of decimal places
ADD2 = 2 decimal places automatically
4. [ON/AC] On switch; turns the calculator on
5. [C/CE] Delete the last entry
6. [ ] Delete the last digit
7. [+/-] Switch between + and -
8. [OFF] Off switch
9. [MRC] Memory recall/clear memory
10. [M-] Subtracts the displayed value from
whatever is currently stored in the
memory
11. [M+] Adds the displayed value to whate-
ver is currently stored in the memory
12. [MU] Mark Up – used for economics
calculations e.g. Gross Profit Margin
13. [GT] Grand total, total since the start
14. [0] [00] [ . ] [1 – 9] Numerical buttons
15. [%] Per cent
16. [ ] Square root
17. [X] Multiplication
18. [ ] Division
19. [+] Addition
20. [–] Subtraction
21. [=] Equal sign, gives answer
to calculations
