    2.5 LIFE TIME EXPECTANTCY NOTE: Operating at extreme temperatures can and will dramatically reduce life expectancy. The expected lifetimes above were observed in a dry environment where both the electronics and pressure fittings were subject to atmosphere. XS-HTI-4 is not rated for operation beyond 175°C and 10000psi; accuracy and quality will not be guaranteed.

    SECTION 3 SOFTWARE/COMMUNICATIONS SET UP 3.1 PRESSURE MEASURMENT WALK THROUGH To start interfacing with the XtalX pressure transducer begin by: Using a FTDI Serial Cable or preferably the provided TTL-232R-3V3 FTDI cable connect to the Sensor male DIP pins Pushing The brown Male pin into the Black Female port on the FTDI Cable. If there is no male header attached to the DDQS transducer, follow the following Silk Screen to FTDI color connection Matrix when soldering and or connecting to your FTDI cable.

Once the FTDI cable has been inserted into your computer USB port make note of which COM port is added to your device manager list of ports: Ports (COM & LPT) Communications Port (COM1) USB Serial Port (COM4) The list of connections ports, where the USB Serial device, COM4, is the newly inserted FTDI cable.
