When the Bolt 2 energy weapon is deployed with a single push of the button, it delivers an approximately 30-second Shaped Pulse energy burst of short-duration electrical pulses. This sparking will continue for 30 seconds unless the safety switch is moved to the rearward (SAFE) position. If the firing button is pushed a second time while the weapon is arcing, the weapon will stop arcing. To start a new energy cycle, you must press the firing button again.
