Auxiliary USB power cable
Some USB devices require power from the USB bus to operate. Before attaching such a device,
connect the auxiliary USB power cable to the power connector on the port card and to a powered
USB port on the computer. This will provide power to USB devices connected to the port card.
Notes:
Don't use any other power supply with the Buffalo port card. Use of other power supplies may
damage the product and void your warranty.
If your USB port doesn't provide enough power to power the connected USB devices, attach each
USB device's power adaptor so that they no longer require power from the USB bus.
Before connecting the auxiliary USB power cable, unplug any connected USB devices.
