Introduction VAKA reservation is used to temporarily grant certain users access to rooms, such as laundry rooms or saunas. The users must reserve a shift to be able to use their tags to open the doors to the reserved room. For VAKA reservations, a few rules are set in the software such as how long each interval is and how often they can be reserved.
Time schedules 1. Under Time schedules , click on Add and then Reservation schedule . 2. Name the schedule, for example, "Reservation laundry room". 3. Right click on the big field under the week days and click Select time period . 4.
Relay and door control Select the reservation object under Reservation and select Machines . Grp0 references one machine group in the reservation object and can be named in the bottom of the field. Machine groups are used t control relays and doors with the same end door and can be added using the + sign .
Assign booking privileges. The person should belong to an access group with booking activated but without access to the door that is to be reserved. Otherwise a normal entry is made and the shift is never initiated. Select the access group that is to be assigned booking privileges under Access groups and select Booking .
Mounting The reservation panel should be mounted with its locks on the top, with some space above, in a room where the temperature does not exceed 50 °C or under- cuts 0 °C and preferably where it is not exposed to direct sun light. Recommenced mounting height is 140-150 cm.
Installation and configuration If the reservation panel is connected to a B60 with DHCP activated and the IP address 10.0.0.101, no changes need to be made. 1. After the panel has been mounted, connect it to VAKA using PoE. 2. Open the configuration menu by pressing the button on the inside of the panel and entering the password "AxemaBooking"...
