Battery replacement

- Carefully pull the cover latch in order to unlock the battery
compartment cover (3).
- Insert 2 new AAA batteries, observing the correct polarity.
- Close the cover. Make sure the latch snaps in place.
Self-levelling function
- The laser has a self-levelling function. The function is opera-
tional within ±5° of the laser tilt angle.
- Switch the laser on and slide the lock switch for self-levelling
function (2) to the unlocked position.
- When the laser tilt angle does not allow the self-levelling
function to work (angles greater than 5°), the laser will sig-
nal the problem by flashing the red indicator light next to the
on/off switch (1).
- Set up the laser in a position so that the indicator light does
not flash: only then it will be possible to set vertical and hor-
izontal lines.
- Press the on/off switch (1) to toggle between showing the
horizontal line, vertical line and both.
- To switch the laser off, slide the lock switch for self-levelling
function (2) to the locked position.
