700C: Installing the Collimating Lens Assembly (700-42)

The 700C temperature controlled mount is designed for customers who want to have the option of
collimating their divergent light sources (laser diodes). The 700-42 collimating lens assembly, which is
purchased separately, is pre-installed into a "lens housing" assembly shown in Fig.1.
Unscrew the lens cartridge from the 700C mount prior to installation of the 700-42. First, the black
protective lens cover must be removed from the front of the 700C. Gently unscrew the now visible lens
cartridge, see Fig. 2.
