The handheld remote is a battery operated device, using two 1.5 volt AAA (or RO3, UM4) batteries. Expected battery life is approximately one year. Messages The DF2 is equipped with a six character alpha-numeric display. This display shows track and time information during normal playback. It also is used to provide other information and instructions regarding the status and operation of the machine.
