MAXIMUM WEIGHT CAPACITY IS 300 LBS. However, it is NOT intended to support the
full weight of a person.
This handrail device provides an assistive balance to assist persons who are mobile, yet need
some assistance to move, sit up, get into or out of bed.
It provides support when moving from a lying position to a sitting position, standing beside the
bed or during transfers by the bed from one bed to another.
Allows for multiple hand positions to accommodate any user.
Quick and easy assembly for use on all home style beds with box springs .
BE AWARE THAT YOU CAN BECOME ENTRAPPED IN THE GAP BETWEEN THE SIDE OF THE

MATTRESS AND THE ASSISTIVE HANDRAIL. IT CAN BE POTENTIALLY LIFE-THREATENING.
• It is possible for a person's head, neck, arm(s), leg(s) or body to become wedged between the side of the
mattress and the assistive handrail horizontal cross bars or vertical side bars.
• The mattress must be tight against the assistive handrail, with no gaps at all times. This should be checked
frequently and at least daily.
• Use two handrails, one on each side of the bed, to assist with keeping the mattress in place, with no gaps,
for added safety.
• The horizontal cross bars must be used at all times.
• CAUTION: If the bed base is wider than the mattress, two handrails will NOT work.
• The handrail is NOT intended for people with poor mobility, or for people who are permanently bedridden.
Extra safety measures and precautions must be used with high-risk patients
• DO NOT USE THIS AS A RESTRAINT AND DO NOT USE IT TO PREVENT USERS FROM FALLING
OUT OF BED.
