  • Page 3 STORAGE AND DISPOSAL Mosquito Magnet® Octenol Mosquito Attractant Storage: Store in original container in a cool, dry area and out of reach of children until ready to use. Mosquito Magnet® Octenol Mosquito Attractant Disposal: DO NOT reuse the spent lures.

    1. Use straightedge shovel or garden spade and dig a trench about 8-10 cm (3”- 4”) deep from power source to trap. 2. Place cord into trench carefully stretching as you go to remove any twists in cord. Mosquito Magnet Patriot Plus Page 14 of 21...

    6. Turn rocker switch to “on” position. 7. The red light on the switch will flash for up to 20 minutes (warm up phase). 8. Once the light stops flashing and is solid, the Mosquito Magnet Patriot Plus is fully operational.

    Close the propane tank valve and disconnect regulator. Any open Mosquito Magnet® Octenol Mosquito Attractant should be removed and discarded. See attractant label for disposal instructions. The bug bag should also be discarded prior to storing the trap.

    Maintenance Schedule  21 Day Maintenance Cycle -Refill propane. (Propane lasts approximately 21 days with 24-hour/7-days operation.)  Replace short-range attractant cartridge. See Mosquito Magnet® Octenol Mosquito Attractant label for instructions  Empty or replace bug bag.  Utilize the Quick Clear adapter at every tank change.
