Set Up
IMPORTANT—Linksys HomeWRK nodes can be set up as primary nodes or child nodes. A primary
node must be connected with an ethernet cable to your modem or modem router. Once set up
wirelessly, secondary nodes can be connected to another node wirelessly or with ethernet cables.
1. Where does your internet come from? Choose A or B

If you have a separate modem and
standalone router, disconnect and
remove your old router.
2. Plug a node into a power source and connect its Internet port to the modem or modem-router
with the supplied ethernet cable.
If you have multiple nodes, choose one of them to connect to your modem. We'll tell you how to
set up your other nodes later.
3. On a device with a data plan, visit Linksys HomeWRK in a browser.
Use the link and instructions in the email sent from your company to continue setup.
