    Dryer VC999 TR2 Safety and warranty Requirements on the operator The machine should only be operated, serviced and repaired by authorised, fully trained and qual- ified personnel. It is the responsibility of the owner to inform operators of possible dangers. The machine is exclusively intended for use by personal aged 14 or older.

    Products packed and hermetically sealed in shrink bags are fed into the machine either manually or via a belt or roller conveyor, e.g. from a VC999 packaging machine. When the photoelectric sensor attached on the infeed side of the machine detects an incoming product, the conveyor belt (wire mesh conveyor belt) integrated in the machine is started by the controller.

It is fitted at the front with an upward opening service door (12). The belt cartridge (7) with the internal conveyor belt is located behind the service door.

These modifications may only be carried out by a VC999 service technician. Please contact the VC999 Customer Service Department. Mtr. This is the time during which the conveyor belt continues to run after the product has passed the photoelectric sensor.

    Dryer VC999 TR2 Maintenance 11.1 Cleaning 11.1.1 Cleaning agents Assemblies Cleaning agent General Do not use abrasive or scratching cleaning agents. Housing and panelling parts Use standard commercially available cleaning agents which are chlorine-free chromium steel cleaning agents that satisfy the rel- evant hygiene regulations.

    Clean the blower's intake filter from dust and particles. The procedure is described in chapter "11.1.3 Clean blower filter".     The main filter requires more time to dry. For this reason we recommend inserting a spare main filter while cleaning is being performed. Spare parts can be ordered from the VC999 customer service (see Chapter "13.1 Ordering spare parts"). Additional information about cleaning and servicing the blower can be found in the documentation included by the manufacturer.

    Dryer VC999 TR2 Maintenance 11.1.4 Cleaning the belt cartridge and sieve Procedure 1. If installed on the machine, disconnect the optional infeed and outfeed roller conveyors (1, 2). They can be simply raised and then removed without the need for tools.

Install the belt cartridge (5) in the machine. Make sure that the notch (10) on the belt cartridge corresponds to the position of the motor shaft (11).

    Make sure that the door seals and protective curtains are functioning correctly and are not worn. The sealing elements must be replaced if excessive blower air escapes from the ma- chine. Contact the VC999 Customer Service Department.  Check the state of the blower wheel.

    2. Check the belt tension on the belt cartridge (1). Situation A: The belt tension is correct. Situation B: The belt tension is not correct.     Maintenance work is carried out on the machine to ensure trouble-free operation. We recommend you subject the machine to a full maintenance cycle at least once a year. The VC999 Customer Service Department can be contacted on request for all maintenance and servicing work.
