Follow carefully the following points: -Never run the engine indoor. -Never use the generator in rain or snow. -Never connect to the domestic electrical circuit f the normal supply of power is given. -Keep away from flammable substances.

The power cable and the extension cable (if present) should be checked periodically and before each use, in order to check that they do not show signs of damage or aging.     PREPARATION 1. Refuel. Use the mixture of the gasoline and the two-stroke engine oil, the volume ratio is 30:1. Fill the gasoline to the edge of the tank neck. 2. Check and clean the air filter. The air filter must be often cleaned, or the polluted air filter will lower the output power of the engine.

    OVERLOAD ALARM LIGHT If the generator is overloaded (in excess of 125 0 V A ), or if there is a short circuit in a connected appliance, the overload indicator light (red) will go ON.     GENERATOR USE CONNECTIONS TO A BUILDING ELECTRICAL SYSTEM Connections for standby power to a building electrical system must be made by a qualified electrician. The connection must isolate the generator power from utility power, and must comply with all applicable laws and electrical codes. Improper connections to a building electrical system can allow electrical current from the genera- tor to feedback into the utility lines.

    SPARK PLUG SERVICE In order to service the spark plug, you will need a spark plug wrench (Commercially available). Recommended spark plug: L8RTC. To ensure proper engine operation, the spark plug must be properly gapped and free of deposits. An incorrect spark plug can cause engine damage. If the engine has been running, the muffler will be very hot.
  • Page 22 STORAGE If the gasoline engine isn’t used for a long time, it must be maintained as follows: 1. Remove the fuel in the tank and in the carburetor, close the chock totally, draw the starter 3-5 times. 2. Take down the spark plug, add certain engine oil from the spark plug hole into the cylinder, and draw the starter 2 -3 times to move the piston to the top dead center, the install the spark plug.
