- Make sure the exhaust vent is facing upward.
- Do not use any soldering iron if damage is visible.
- Close the taps of the soldering iron before connecting the gas cylinder.
- Gas soldering iron should only be used for up to 5 minutes before pausing and allowing the unit to cool down.
REMINDER
- The soldering iron shall be used away from flammable materials such as wooden tables.
- The soldering iron must be operated on a horizontal surface.
- Butane shall be filled in a well-ventilated location, preferably outside, away from any sources of ignition,
such as naked flame, pilots, sparks and away from other people.
- If there is a leak on your soldering iron (smell of gas), take it outside immediately into a well-ventilated flame
free location where the leak maybe detected and stopped. If you wish to check for leaks on your soldering iron,
do it outside. Do not try to detect leaks using a flame, use soapy water.
- Do not leave the soldering iron unattended.
- It is strongly suggested to use this product together with an independent Iron stand to avoid
any heating hazard when on standby.
