1.2.
General Safety.
 WARNING! Ensure health & safety, local authority, & general workshop practice regulations are
adhered to when using this equipment.
 WARNING! Disconnect from mains power before changing accessories, servicing or maintenance.
 Maintain the Stapler/Nailer in good condition (use an authorised service agent).
 Replace or repair damaged parts. Use recommended parts only. Non authorised parts may be
dangerous and will invalidate the warranty.
 Use this product in an adequate working area for its function, keep area clean, tidy and free from
unrelated materials. Ensure there is adequate lighting.
 WARNING! Always wear approved eye or face protection when operating the Stapler/Nailer.
 Remove ill fitting clothing, ties, watches, rings, other loose jewellery, and contain and/ or tie back long hair.
 Wear appropriate protective clothing and keep hands and body clear of working parts.
 Maintain correct balance and footing. Ensure the floor is not slippery and wear non slip shoes.
 Keep children and unauthorised persons away from the working area.
 DO NOT force this product to achieve a task it was not designed to perform.
 DO NOT operate where flammable gasses or liquids are present.
 DO NOT operate if any parts are damaged or missing. This may cause failure or possible injury.
 DO NOT carry by the electrical cable.
 DO NOT get the Stapler/Nailer wet or use in damp or wet locations.
 DO NOT point at other persons or animals.
 DO NOT operate if you are tired, under the influence of alcohol, drugs or intoxicating medication.
 DO NOT carry the Stapler/Nailer with your finger on the power switch.
 When not in use disconnect from the mains power supply, remove the staples/nails from the
magazine and store in a safe, dry, child proof area.
2. TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
The AK7062 is a multi purpose tool, it operates with wide and narrow staples up to 14mm long, nails and pins up
to 16mm long, making it suitable for fastening a wide range of materials from upholstery to timber. Fitted with a
trigger safety catch and a safety contact switch that prevents operation when not pressed onto workpiece. It has
a multi-channel magazine designed for staples and nails.

3. OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Loading Staples/Nails
3.1
Slide the trigger safety lock to the locked position (0) see fig.1 and unplug the supply.
3.2
Push in and press down to unlock the rear staple/nail pusher and draw it out from the multi channel
magazine, see fig.1.
3.3
Insert the nails or staples into the channels in the magazine see fig.2 and replace the pusher making
sure it is locked into place.

Make sure the trigger lock is in the locked position (0) see fig.1.

Plug the supply lead into a 230V supply.
WARNING! Keep trigger lock in the off position and finger off the trigger until ready to drive staples.
3.6
Grip the tool firmly and slide the trigger lock to the on position (I)
3.7
Push the stapler exit against the item to be stapled and squeeze the trigger.
Note: The staple exit must be pressed down firmly as this product is fitted with a safety device in the head which
must be fully depressed before the staple will fire.
Note: If you trying to staple a hard material such as wood you may press down on the head of the tool with your
free hand which will improve the staple driving. See fig.3.

4. MAINTENANCE
WARNING! Disconnect Stapler/Nailer from mains power supply and move the safety trigger lock to the OFF
position before changing accessories, servicing or performing maintenance. Replace or repair damaged
parts. Use recommended parts only. Non authorised parts may be dangerous and will invalidate the
warranty.
4.1.
If the stapler jams, move the trigger lock to the off position and unplug the supply.
4.2.
Take out the staple/nail pusher and turn the tool upside down.
4.3.
Undo and remove the screw to the rear of the tool, see fig.4.
Hold the latch on the magazine push back and lower
the chamber from the stapler body.
4.4.
Remove jammed staples/nails from the magazine.
4.5.
Re-assemble the magazine and replace the rear screw.
If stapler requires cleaning, use a clean cloth to remove dirt.
DO NOT use solvents when cleaning plastic parts.
DO NOT oil or grease any part of this tool.
All other service, maintenance and repairs must be
carried out by an authorised service agent.
