CURRENT
1. Inspect your new fan for damage that may have
occurred during shipping.
2. Remove motor from fan as shipped.
3. Mount motor to tensioning plate using 5/16" carriage bolts
and 5/16" lock nuts.
4. Mount motor tensioning bracket to motor assembly
support members with 3/8" carriage bolts and 3/8" lock
nuts (Do not tighten completely- adjustment necessary).
5. Attach motor tensioning plate, with motor preattached,
to motor tensioning bracket as shown on reverse side.
6. Insert compression spring assembly, mount pulley on
motor, and install v-belt.
7. Adjust motor position and tighten 3/8" lock nuts and place
desired tension on v-belt by tightening spring assembly.
1. Read WARNING statements before proceeding.
2. Blades, motor and wire guards should be
cleaned periodically to decrease vibration and
ensure maximum fan life. DO NOT SPRAY
MOTOR WITH WATER OR CLEANING
FLUIDS - remove dirt with a dry brush or
compressed air.
3. Fan performance may be greatly reduced by
damaged or dirty shutter. Clean and inspect
shutter periodically to ensure maximum fan
performance.

Do not operate fan until you are completely
familiar with its operation. READ ALL
INSTRUCTIONS PRIOR TO INSTALLATION.
1. Fan may be securely mounted upright in wall, suspended
from ceiling, or hinged from wall or post.
In Wall: Refer to Framing Diagram on reverse side.
Suspended: Install 3/8" bolts with nuts, or 3/8" eye
screws in ceiling at desired mounting location. Hang fan
with chain and S-hooks or with winch, pulleys, and cable.
2. Fan is provided with wire guards for your protection.
National safety codes require that guards be installed
if fan is installed within 7 feet of floor or in reach of
personnel or livestock.
FAILURE TO GUARD MOVING PARTS MAY RESULT
IN SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH.
3. Unit is now ready for operation.
IMPORTANT: INSPECT FAN FOR ANY OBJECT THAT
MAY OBSTRUCT BLADE ROTATION.

When this fan is used in a life support ventilation system
where failure could result in loss or injury, the user should
provide adequate backup ventilation or accept the risk of
such loss or injury.
Disconnect power source before installing
or servicing fan. Failure to disconnect power
source can result in property damage, serious
injury, or death.
Your Econo Flow fan has been manufactured with the
finest materials and components available and is backed
by a one year warranty against electrical and mechanical
defects in material and workmanship. If this fan fails to
operate during this period, return it prepaid to place of
purchase for repair or replacement without charge at the
manufacturer's option.
Damage by accident or abuse is not covered by this
warranty.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may
have other rights that vary from state to state.
