Before you begin...
Thank you for choosing CLOzX Closets. A new and better way to organize your closet space is
always something to get excited about! Before you begin installing your new closet, please take
the time to review all instructions.
Your CLOzX Packages:
9 Before you open the package, check for visible damage.
9 Once you have unpackaged its contents, survey items for concealed damage and/or
missing items.
Preparing Your Space:
9 Walls are clean and free of obstructions.
9 Survey the wall structure, ensuring that you can fasten to secure wall framing members.
9 Survey any in-wall mechanicals (wires and pipes), that may appear to be wall framing.
Avoid all in-wall mechanicals during installation.
9 If your new closet system rests on the floor, carefully remove the base trim on the rear wall
(to be re-installed after closet system installation). Lastly, find the high spot on the floor.
Tools Required:
9 Tape measure
9 Pencil
9 Level
9 Stud Finder
9 #2 Phillips or
Pozi screwdriver
9 Power drill or
power driver
9 Metal cutting hacksaw
or portable metal cutting
bandsaw
9 Drill bits
(installing deco hardware)
9 Short #2 Phillips screwdriver
9 Specialty Items (depending on module)

- Page 2 CLOZX Closet Installation BASIC INSTALLATION 1. Install wall hang rail and cover cap ▪ From the guide below, determine the wall hang rail mounting height. ◦ Insert drawing/guide for mounting heights. ▪ Measure from the finished floor and mark the wall hang rail mounting height on the wall.
- Page 3 CLOZX Closet Installation 2. Layout the closet sections ▪ Your closet design will need a small gap on each end, typically between 1” and 2”. This is to ensure that the closet system can be assembled without the constraints of imperfect wall conditions.
- Page 4 CLOZX Closet Installation 5. Install the upper fixed shelves ▪ Again, beginning on the far right or far left of the closet run, connect the first fixed shelf to the first partition. Fit the shelf loosely between the verticals and slide over the connector dowels.
- Page 5 CLOZX Closet Installation 8. Install adjustable shelves and clothes rods ▪ Install the 5mm adjustable shelf pins, according to the module reference guide. (Figure 14) ▪ Install adjustable shelf. ▪ Locate the proper system holes for the clothes rod flange and push into place.
