the Pipe Vice & Stand, even if you have used one before. Reading these
instructions carefully and understanding them fully will enable you to erect the
stand correctly and will prevent injury to yourself or someone else.
SAFETY GUIDELINES
This item is heavy, take care when lifting heavy objects.
Before each use, ensure that all nuts and bolts are correctly fitted and are tight.
When working with long lengths of pipe you may need to support the other end of
the pipe.
Keep children and unauthorised people away from the work area.
Keep the work area clean and tidy.
Use on a level and firm surface. Do not use on tarmac or soft surfaces.
Store in a secure, dry place.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

TOOLS NEEDED: 17mm socket or spanner
1) Open out the wooden base (A) so that it is flat on the floor. (fig. 1)
2) Remove the 17mm nut and bolt (B) holding the rear leg (C). (fig 2)
3) Turn the rear leg (C) upside down and refit. (fig. 3)
4) Raise the metal tray (D) into the horizontal position, locating the hooks onto the
bars on the rear leg (C). (fig. 4)

5) The wooden base can be raised and held in the vertical position with the rubber
restraining strap (E). (Fig 5)
6) It is now ready for use with the Kennedy Pipe Vice. (fig. 6) Be sure to keep the
stand on a level floor.
