Overview This document describes how to operate the low latency streaming system Zao-X. Video Streaming System Configuration Zao-X can transmit videos (including embedded sounds) input through HDMI or SDI to a remote receiver (Zao View or HD View V5) via LAN or the Internet. Up to six telecommunication lines can be used.

When power starts being supplied, the device starts up. The power button is located on the side of the Zao-X device. It is used as an alternate switch. When it is pressed, the device turns on, and when it is pressed again, the device turns off.
10 Button Functions and OLED Panel The device has three functional buttons and the UP and DOWN buttons. Use these buttons to configure the Zao-X settings. The bottom of the OLED panel displays the functions corresponding to the three functional buttons.
11 HOME Screen and MENU Screen (OLED Panel) Zao-X has the HOME screen and the MENU screen. You can switch between the HOME screen and the MENU screen using buttons. Pressing MENU (LEFT) in OFFLINE mode takes you to the MENU screen.

12 Starting Zao-X When Zao-X starts up, it automatically connects to Zao View (If Zao View is not running or the connection setting is different, the screen does not change from "CONNECTING..."). When the device enters STREAMING mode, it displays the bit rate and frame rate of video streaming.
OFFLINE mode on the HOME screen, you will go to the MENU screen. 13.1 Encoding mode setting Zao-X has two encoding modes: Normal mode and ULL mode. You can check the current encoding mode by looking at the OLED icon.
13.2 Version number check In 1.SYSTEM on the MENU screen, select the SELECT (CENTER) button. Select 1-2.VERSION INFO. The version number and SUID of Zao-X are displayed. When you press BACK (LEFT), you will return to the MENU screen. Figure 13-3 Version Information...
In 1.SYSTEM on the MENU screen, select the SELECT (CENTER) button. Select 1-4.REBOOT. When "Are you sure to reboot Zao-X ?" appears, select YES (CENTER) to reboot Zao-X. If you select NO (RIGHT), you will return to the MENU screen without a reboot.

RESET. When "Wipe out all user data ?" appears, select YES (CENTER) to clear the user setting values to the default settings. When the user setting values are cleared, "Rebooting..." appears, rebooting the device. If you select NO (RIGHT) for "Wipe out all user data ?", you will return to the MENU screen without clearing the setting values.
