    OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS ERROR MESSAGES The thermometer incorporates visual diagnostics messages as below: ER2: is displayed when the thermometer is exposed to rapid changes in ambient temperatures. ER3: is displayed when the ambient temperature exceeds 32˚F (0˚C) or 122˚F (50˚C).The tester should be allowed plenty of time to stabilize in the working temperature.
