  • Page 3 User Manual. The symbols below are used throughout all Motion Concepts’ manuals to identify warnings, cautions and important notes. It is very important for you to read and understand them completely.
  • Page 4 Up/Down button (arrows) to operate the selected motor function. PROGRAM MODE: In Program Mode, the M290 Remote allows Qualified Service Technicians the flexibility to set-up and reconfigure the Seating System to better meet the specific needs of the end user when necessary.
  • Page 5 - 5 - In Standard Mode the M290 Remote operates as an attendant control box using the Left/Right arrows on the touch screen display to cycle through the available motor functions on the power positioning system (PPS), and the Up/Down buttons (arrows) to operate the selected motor function.
  • Page 6 Note: Access to the identified Program/Set-up Options in the M290 remote is password protected, and restricted to Qualified Technical Service personnel only. Note: the M290 software version is also indicated briefly on the display screen when the remote attendant control is intially powered on.
  • Page 7 Your power positioning system should never exceed the recommended safety limits. These Safety Limits are controlled by a Tipsy Angle Sensor that is mounted in a fixed position on our Motion Concepts Power Positioning Systems. The angle at which the limits are set is critical to the safe operation of the power positioning system (refer to the recommended Safety Limts/Angles provided below).
