BATTERY AND CHARGING Your scooter is equipped with two sealed, maintenance free 20 AH batteries. ◆ Charge the batteries prior to using your scooter for the first time. ◆ Keep the batteries fully charged to keep your scooter running smoothly. Reading your battery volume The battery volume meter on the tiller console uses a color code to indicate the condition of your batteries.
  • Page 9 FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS How does the charger work? When your scooter’s battery voltage is low, the charger works harder, sending more electrical current to the battery to bring up their charge. When the voltage approaches full level, the charger is at nearly zero amperage. Therefore, when the charger is plugged in, it maintains the charging on your scooter’s batteries, but will not overcharge them.
