J-Mini
User Manual v 1.0.1
Introduction
J-Mini
has been developed and designed for the efficient and productive identification of CVD and HTHP
Pro
laboratory grown diamonds, either as loose stones or in diamond-set jewelry. Laboratory grown diamonds
(LGD) are visually indistinguishable from natural diamonds and the supply pipeline is contaminated by the
undisclosed intrusion of LGD into every part of the jewelry industry.
Because all concerned interests in the jewelry industry desire to represent their products fairly and honestly, it
is necessary to have some type of device that detects laboratory grown diamondsto prevent any possible
confusion or misrepresentation. J-Mini
Consumers have a fundamental right to know about the origins of the products that they purchase. J-Mini
allows the Retailer, Wholesaler, and Manufacturer to verify the content of the merchandise that they sell.
J-Mini
is a machine that can facilitate the screening process for CVD and HTHP laboratory grown
Pro
diamonds to protect consumers from undisclosed LGD. This manual is a guide in the effective, efficient, and
safe use of this instrument. Please review it carefully before the use of the instrument.
