  • Page 2 1. Introduction With a Wi-Fi dongle installed on camera, the installer can easily access the camera live view during the initial installation using a cell phone or laptop. The installer can easily check the live view for verification of view angle and position. 2.
  • Page 3 1. Power on the VIVOTEK camera. 2. Install a Wi-Fi dongle to the camera using a Micro USB OTG adapter. 3. VIVOTEK’s camera will automatically configure the Wi-Fi dongle into the AP mode. 4. The Wi-Fi dongle will start broadcasting the SSID, e.g., FD9367-EHTV-v2_85C057 (mode name_last 6 digits of MAC address).
  • Page 4 6. Configure your smart phone > Settings > Turn off Cellular data. 7. Connect VIVOTEK camera from your smart phone or laptop. 8. From iViewer, enter Add devices > Add from list > Select camera > Login.
  • Page 5 9. You should be able to see the live streaming and perform camera view adjustment or use a laptop for further image settings. 10. Remove Wi-Fi dongle and install the top cover or access panel for waterproofing.

    For iPhone users, iViewer running on iOS 14 will not be able to search • VIVOTEK camera. Please wait for new version of iViewer release in 2021 September and add VIVOTEK camera manually with fixed IP address 192.168.1.1. If your ethernet IP address is 192.168.1.X, then please re-plug the Wi-Fi dongle again and try 172.16.1.1.
