INSTRUCTION MANUAL
The vM PFM2 is a passive power line filter suitable for the whole audio installation, with a
maximum load of 1000 Watt (approximately 4 Amp.) withdrawn from the mains.
Pay attention to the phase indication (red dot), as well at the input for the mains plug and at
the output terminations for analog and digital.
All equipment, in which have switching power supplies or a digital circuit, such as a CD
player or CD transport, must be connected on the digital terminal. All other equipment, such
as pre and power amplifiers, but also feedings of electrostatic loudspeakers, must be
connected on the analog terminal.
The vM PFM2 is not provided with a mains switch. Each other device, which has been
connected on the filter, already has its own on/off switch. Moreover several brands in pre
and power amplifiers may never switched on or off together. From the vM PFM2 this is not
possible.
