Quick Installation Guide Tips: Thank you for purchasing our security IP Camera! This Quick Installation Guide includes only basic setup for building connection with the camera. For other advanced software settings, such as Motion Detection, Email Alarm, FTP Settings, please find corresponding instruction in the User Guide included in the CD.
Physical Description 1.Start Installation of the Camera You can install the camera by a smartphone/tablet (Android or iOS) as a recommended option, or by a PC (Windows or Mac OS). Please refer to the guide for smartphone/tablet installation on chapter 2, or PC installation on chapter 3 after completing first step on hardware installation.
Notes: During the first installation, you need to use wired network connection with Ethernet cable even for Wi-Fi setup. 2.Smart Phone Installation Method This camera can only connect to 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi networks, so please ensure that your phone is connected to the same2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network if the router is dual-band.

One key to configure WiFi After install the mobile app, the mobile phone connected to WiFi, the camera will have a WiFi Hot Spot which name is “IPCXXXXX”, and the password is “01234567”, connect your phone to this WiFi,click add camera--Search Camera From LAN, it will find the camera, select the camera, it will add the camera automatically.

Click the “Setting” icon to set the camera to connect your Wireless Router. Click “Wi-Fi” Setting-”Wi-Fi MANAGER”, Select your Wireless Router SSID, input the password to finish the setup. 8 / 59...

Install Search Tool on the computer Install “Search Tool” from the software CD, there will be a shortcut on the desktop after installation. Login the camera and change the default password Run “Search Tool”, and then click “ Next”, the camera which isconnected on thenetwork will be detected and listed in the window automatically along with its UID, IP and MAC address.

Find and select the SSID belongs to your router, click Join button in front of the SSID. Enter wireless security key password twice. Then click Apply button to enable and save the wireless settings. After finishing wireless setup, please close the browser, and then unplug the Ethernet cable and wait for around 30 seconds to get the camera reconnected by Wi-Fi connection.

Get the WAN IP Address of the Camera. Go to the option DDNS, then click Show (internet IP Address), then it will show the WAN IP address of the camera (which is the WAN IP of the router too).
A1: The original username and password are both "admin" (lowercase, no capital letters) as factory default setting. If the camera has been installed before, enter new username and password changed. As some iOS phones may automatically change the initial letter as capital, make sure to disable this function before entering.

5.3 Default Username and Password To login to the system for the first time, use one of the following default username/password combinations. Once you’ve successfully logged in, it is highly recommended to change the password for security reasons. Username: admin Password: admin Note:Changing the password for admin account is necessary with prompt during initial setup.

You can also change some camera’s network configurations and camera name through the Search Tool after inputting the correct username and password. Please remind that the login Username and Password of the camera are not available to change in below blanks of the Search Tool. There is an entry to changing the username and password in web browser after access.
6.1.2Local Access via Web Browser Run the search tool and click “Next” to search cameras on the LAN. After the device is found and listed in the search result window, double click on the device item to open a web browser for viewing the camera on computer.
Note: Due to the limitations of NPAPI plugins, the web browser of Chrome/Safari/Firefoxdoes not support the setting features of playback, talk, motion-detection and privacy mask. 6.1.3 Remote Web Access You can access the camera remotely via web browser using UPnP/DDNS functionality or Port Forwarding.
Port Forwarding is another method to set up remote access. It is required to make settings on both camera and router. Please refer to the corresponding documentation provided by the manufacturer or from the FAQ area of the support center on our website to learn the detail instruction.

6.6.5 Audio Setting Go to “Camera Setting”---> “Audio Setting” to configure the audio parameters. It is only available for the camera models with two-way audio function. 6.6.6SD card plan recording Go to “ Camera Setting”--->”SD card plan recording” to enable/disable automatic and constant recording.

On Playback interface, you can review any recordings saved in the local storage (captured pictures and videos by manual), or automatically saved recordings (motion detection recordings and constant time-schedule recordings, pictures and videos are included) from SD Card of the camera.

8.2.5 ONVIF You can turn on/off ONVIF for connecting the camera with a third-party program like NVR or Blue Iris, the port number can be changed here and you can also select the accessing mode of privilege. 8.2.6 P2P On this page you can check the UID of your camera for P2P, and enable or disable the P2P feature of the camera as you need.
8.3 Alarm 8.3.1 Audio Alarm Here you can turn on/off the audio alarm of your camera. You can set up the volume range to respond to alarm sensitivity. 8.3.2 Motion detection ( Only available for IE browser on windows OS) Here you can set up the areas of the motion detection and the sensitivity values of each area.
8.3.3 Alarm On this page you can set the alarm Linkage action. Include the E-mail Alarm and Send with Picture, Save Picture/Video on the FTP Server and set up preset positions for motion detection (only for Pan/Tilt camera) once the alarm triggered.
8.3.4 Schedule On this page you can set up the schedule for 24/7 motion detection, green area means motion detection enabled while blue means disabled. Select List: Set 24/7 motion detection. Clear List: Empty the schedule. 8.4 Advance 8.4.1 User Here you can edit the account information of the camera, such as change the username or password, the default account is admin/admin.
8.4.3 Timer Record Timer Record is for constant recording, which you can also set up 24/7 schedule. The video quality and size are decided by the stream type and video/image parameters. You can set up the clip length of each recording file. We recommend setting the length not more than 600s for each file in order to lad and playback smoothly.
You can click the “Test” button to check whether your email settings are valid or not. 8.4.5 FTP Setting FTP server to save recordings on computer is available. You can click the “Test” button to check whether your settings are correct and can be passed.
8.4.6 Terminal This page is for configuring parameters for Pan/Tilt operation. Centered While Self Check: The lens will go to the preset center position after the cruise is complete. Close the alarm PTZ movement: Stop motion detection while the camera is panning or tilting.
8.4.8 Multiple Setting ( Only available for IE browser on windows OS) On this page you can search the cameras on the same LAN and add them into your multiple device group. Then you can view them at the live page together.

9Frequently Asked Questions 9.1 How to start the live view in computer by web browser? Before you start the live view in windows OS in IE browser. Please install the plugin first. But for the Google Chrome or Safari, you can start the live view directly by accessing the IP address of your camera, no need to install the plugin which is not supported for installation by Chrome and Safari.
Refresh the IP address when it is ready to login and access your camera. 9.3 How to install the plugin for Mozilla Firefox browser in Windows OS? When you login the camera in your computer at the first time by Firefox browser, it will show you to download the plugin.
9.5 Forgotten the username or password of the camera Here have a hard reset button in the camera. Please press and hold the reset button for 10 seconds. Upon releasing the reset button, the camera will reboot automatically and the username and password will be restored to the factory default settings.
9.7 Camera could not connect the wireless network by Wi-Fi 1. Please go to the Settings--->Network--->Wireless page through web browser,. 2. Please make sure these special characters did not be included in your Wi-Fi password, such as & =’ “ \ % +.
