Swing open the brew basket and, if desired, lift out the removable filter basket. Place a MR. COFFEE ® brand 8-12 cup paper filter or a MR. COFFEE ® permanent gold-tone filter in the filter basket. Add the desired amount of ground coffee to the filter. -

For Models AR10, AR11, AR12 and AR13 only: Push the switch to ON. The ON/OFF switch will light, indicating that the coffeemaker is On and the brew cycle will begin. When the coffee stops flowing, the brew cycle is complete. -
