TOUGHBOOK 40 Laptop Docking Station
This instruction sheet is for the Panasonic TOUGHBOOK 40 Laptop docking station only.
For instructions on features, set-up, and operation of the computer, please refer to the
manual provided by Panasonic with the computer.
This docking station is designed to be used with a variety of Gamber-Johnson mounting
systems. Installation instructions for other Gamber-Johnson products are provided with each
individual product.
This instruction sheet is for the following products:

Item No. 7160-1728-06 No RF Lite
Item No. 7160-1728-07 Quad RF Lite
Panasonic recommends using a Lind Auto Adapter to power the docking station. The
following power adapters have 15.6Vdc output (120W) and are sold separately unless
ordering a KIT.

PRE-INSTALLATION RECOMMENDATIONS Conduct a "Bench Test" Gamber-Johnson strongly advises a "bench test" be conducted to verify all electronic and software issues are resolved prior to installation: Make sure the computer is operational by itself. Screen support can be purchased from www.GamberJohnson.com Part Number: 7110-1401 Screen Support Mounting Locations Remove the two #6-32 screws that are currently on the docking station and slide the screen support in between the metal plate and plastic.
