Before Measurement

For stable and reliable results, it is essential to check the non-contact infrared
thermometer and change as needed, as follow:
Step 1 Test the body temperature of any person using a conventional thermometer, for
instance if you get 99.5⁰F (37.5⁰C).
Step 2 To the same person, use this device to measure. About 1-2 inch distance
between thermometer and forehead. This device should show 99.5⁰F (37.5⁰C) when it is
properly set and ready to use.
Note:
Remove any obstacle which could alter the measurement (hair, perspiration and etc).
Lower Temperature
When you have got lower temperature - for example: 97.5⁰F (36.4⁰C), difference is
2.2⁰F (1.1⁰C). You should adjust the temperature on the device until to the same
value.
Press "Mode" button for 2 seconds, screen displays F1.
Press "Mode" button again until you see F3.
Press "Up" button in order to add the value.
Step 3 Do measurement again to check the value.
Measurement
1. Once you turn on this device, it will test the room temperature first when the
device is not used for a long time.
2. Select "Body" Mode, place device towards forehead or behind the ear lobe,
suggested distance about 1-2 inches (3-5cm).
3. Press measurement trigger, beep sound in rapid sounds alerted when the
measurement is higher than 100.4⁰F (38⁰C).
