    7.1 What is Server Mode Server Mode means MOSA 4600B SIP Line act as SIP Proxy itself. SIP devices that do not have SIP Proxy to register to, can register to MOSA 4600B SIP Line Server directly. No needs to buy expensive SIP Proxy.

    MOSA 3700, SIP Phone, Softphone is like the extension of VODNET. All digits dialed after hook off the extension, is sent to MOSA SIP Line. MOSA SIP Line receives the digits and dial out the number the same as the number which extension dial.

For the reason that SIP device is able to make call to MOSA 4600B SIP Line, MOSA 4600B SIP Line need to create SIP Entity number for SIP device to make call. Unlike Client Mode, when MOSA 4600B SIP Line acts as client, SIP Entity number is specified by other SIP Proxy and you can not change it as you want.

    8.3.1 Two Step Dialing Concept: After SIP device (such as MOSA 3700) in SIP environment dial to MOSA SIP Line, it looks the same as any extension in VODNET picks up handset. Then user can dial to other device in VODNET by any dialing behavior of MOSA 4600 series.

    8.4 From VODNET to Different SIP Concept: Many MOSA 4600B SIP Line can connect to the same VODNET environment to create call route to different SIP environment. By this way, Machine extension in VODNET can consider SIP phone in different SIP ISP as extension. No matter where SIP phone user is located, if SIP phone is connected to IP network, user in VODNET can dial extension number to SIP Phone.

    8.5 Incoming Call from Different SIP Environment Concept: Many MOSA 4600B SIP Line can connect to the same VODNET environment to create call route to different SIP environment. By this way, SIP user in different SIP ISP can make call to VODNET and consider Machine in VODNET as extension, or make Outbound call to PSTN.

    *9-81-3# (assume *9 is the Access Code of Seize Remote Trunk and it can be configured at ADVANCED\NUMBERING PLAN. 81 is Country Code, 3 is Area Code) to seize dial tone of MOSA SIP Trunk (SIP environment by SIP Proxy: 61.222.217.80), then dial 66133 to make call.

    By this authentication, user of SIP device has to dial extra PIN Code+# for authentication after he/she make call to MOSA 4600B SIP Line. If authentication is successful, second dial tone is heard. If PIN Code dialed is not correct or no PIN Code dialed, busy tone is heard.
