  • Page 3 SCS-1002 This operating manual describes Hospital and refrigerator alarm system SCS-1002 (hereinafter referred to as the System) and any options of its composition. This operating manual describes composition, structure, operation, specifications of the System and its components, instructions for the correct and safe operation of the System (intended use, technical service, current repair, storage and transportation), and disposal instructions for the System components.

    Operating manual SCS-1002 1.4 S TRUCTURE AND OPERATION OF THE YSTEM The System is a hardware and software unit that includes the SCs described in 1.3. The System sends a call from controllers of call buttons to the central unit (main reception and control device) or repeater providing actuation of light and sound signaling and displaying the address of the controller.

    Operating manual SCS-1002 3 INTENDED USE 3.1 O PERATIONAL LIMITATIONS Connect the System components in compliance with connection diagrams in Appendix A, and table of connections issued for the order. All SCs must be grounded, insulation of cables must be intact, bare ends shall be absent.

To power the SCs, firstly, turn on a circuit breaker on the main switchboard, then, transfer a power button to ON position – on SCS-SPS, or press Power button – on SCS-CU, if it is not active.

    Operating manual SCS-1002 8 DISPOSAL Packaging material, SC damaged during operation of the System, and any overage equipment must not be disposed as standard household wastes, since they contain the materials suitable for re-use. Decommissioned and non-used components of the System must be delivered to a special waste disposal center licensed by local authorities.
