    Preparation Actuator Mounting Locations When installing the complete power bimini system onto the boat's railing, make sure: • The actuators are mounted square, level and plumb to one another (Fig. 1). • No actuator is mounted more than 1/4" ahead of the other (Fig. 1).
  • Page 5 Place the previously removed (step 4) QC power bimini system on top of the frame/railing so that the actuators' mounting studs align with the drilled holes in the frame/railing.
  • Page 6 11. Secure complete QC bimini system in place with 5/16" split lock washers and 5/16"-18 acorn nuts (Fig. 3A) four places. 12. Use a 9/16" wrench to tighten the acorn nuts.     Without Touch Controller Nose Mount Caps Install the Lippert QC Power Bimini system per steps 1-12 of the With Touch Controller section and as follows: Note: The Nose Mount Caps are part of the complete system frame, but requires attachment to the boat's railings.

    Using the Touch Controller The power bimini system is designed to shut itself off when full travel has been achieved. The system will not open or close any farther once the system has achieved full travel until the opposite button has been touched.
  • Page 9 Turn on electrical power to the boat. If necessary, remove the protective boot from the bimini top. Touch and hold the controller's RAISE button (Fig. 7A) to fully extend the bimini top. Note: Do NOT fully open the QC bimini system without the canvas top installed or failure of the system will result.
